Welcome to our new Fall season. Summer has ended. Rally Sunday has come and gone. Sunday School is back in session and the choir has returned. We have two very special and important events coming up in October and November:

The Spirit of the Community Dinner and the Veteran’s Day Dinner. See details about these elsewhere on the site. I pray every family and individual will support these events as they help us in our work of mission to the Ossining community. Soon Stewardship time will be upon us. We face an overwhelming challenge as several generous supporters have died in the last 16 months and all of us are facing demanding financial realities. We will all have to give more and learn to do more while spending less. Last February I called us to a year of "Radical Evangelism" which has not been as fruitful as hoped. Everyone must try to be in church every Sunday and bring guests. We must all attend and support special events. If our parish is to live we must realize our purpose is mission and each of us is needed to witness to God’s love for us and all God’s creation. May God strengthen us and guide us in the months ahead.
